Anne Bullock

Anne Bullock was born in Whitechapel, London, and grew up in Essex. She trained at Walthamstow Art College, where she was awarded a Royal Society of Arts bursary for her work in textile design. Anne studied fine art and design for a further three years at the Central School of Art in London, gaining a Dipoma after spending a final year at the Bristol School of Art. She worked as a textile designer in London and in Bristol. Although her paintings are mostly figurative her vision is informed by her work as a designer, using flat areas of colour, bold shapes and pattern.
