Sue Blacks paintings are primarily concerned with childhood memories, family photographs and the kinds of housing estates where she grew up. There are also images of houses, found in the property sections of local newspapaers. It is the ordinariness of these subjects that fascinate her as well as the connections many people can make with their own lives and childhood.
