Journey to Distant Shores - Symbolic Art 2

Through the imagination, as self conscious beings, we find scope for new ideas, new interpretations and intuitions of the infinite in the finite. If Art can lend the human soul its 'eyes of spirit' can 'a whole' or a unity be perceived within or between worldly 'parts' ........ can interconnections between all 'things' be made? It can be that through art and the imagination we have the possibility of touching that 'distant shore'.

Angela Blesky lives and works in Bristol. She is in the main self- taught. She paints in oils and acrylics and looks to nature for her inspiration. Her paintings are colourful and have a surreal, magical quality like fairy tales.
