Bristol Folk Festival is one of the UKs best known and loved May-Day-Weekend Festivals. Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th May 2014 will be moving to a new home at two of the best and most respected venues in Bristol: St Georges and Bristol Folk House, placed almost next door to each other. The Folk House Main Hall will play host to some of the biggest acts of the Folk Festival including Martha Tilston.

Enrolments for Summer Term 2014 are now oepn.
Details of all the courses and workshops are available on the courses page of our website and in our prospectus which is available from the Folk House. You can enrol by paying over the phone with a credit or debit card, by sending us a cheque with an enrolment form, or you can pop in and see us at reception.
There are over 200 courses and workshops including all your old favourites as well as some brand new ones such as Sewing by Hand, Introduction to Art History, Creative Writing, and more!

An exhibition by photographer David Calvin and this exhibition will also be a part of the Bristol Festival of Photography.
Following its closure over three years ago, architectural and landscape photographer David Calvin revisited, by invitation, the former Fry's/Cadbury's Somerdale factory at Keynsham.
Its vast, beguiling interiors form the subject of his latest project, Somerdale: Unwrapped, documenting this historic industrial site which is currently undergoing a dramatic phase of redevelopment.

Join us for our annual Summer market where our lovely local and independent stall holders will be in full swing!! They will be selling everything from vintage clothing & accessories, records, books, bric-a-brac and toys plus gifts such as cheese and homewares. The cafe will be serving up delicious treats and it'll be the perfect place to find those unique and special presents!

Drop in & Draw every Friday
Our popular Drop in & Draw sessions run each Friday during term time. There is no tuition in these sessions but the model is provided so just come along with your drawing materials and get drawing!
Every Friday during term time 10:00 - 12:00 and 13:00 - 15:00.
£6.50 for one session or £10 for both
Sessions for the Spring Term will be held on the following dates:
2nd, 9th, 16th May
6th, 13th, 20th, 27th June
6th, 4th July
Please note that spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis in person only (you cannot pay for someone who is due to arrive later). We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early to give yourself the best chance of getting a place.
