An exhibition by Gordy Wright

Gordy Wright is an illustrator/printmaker based in Bristol. He graduated from the Bristol UWE illustration course with a first class honours degree.

Gordy has recently become one of the tutors at Folk House and runs the digital illustration course which involves learning about the huge variety of ways you can digitally create fresh and exciting new work.

This exhibition is made up of his most recent work which are all created through a variety of traditional and digital techniques. The beginning of his process involves sketching, various mark making, painting, monoprinting and collagraph printing. This imagery is then scanned in at a high resolution and further developed through photoshop.

His work is often narrative based and often heavily influenced nature and the environmental issues that have developed between the human and animal worlds.
