Description

The primary aim of this course is to teach you about colour management. You will cover a wide spectrum of approaches and techniques covering the foundation of colour use right up to introducing arbitrary colours into your work. Using portraits as a framework you will be led on a practical exploration of using colour with different types of brushes (sometimes in unconventional ways) and a selection of palette knives. Use oil paint liberally with effective colour techniques. This workshop focuses on being supportive and giving appropriate guidance to match the level of the learner. Please note that oil paints and boards are conveniently supplied and included in the cost, and the tutor will take you on a journey of discovery with these colours that are used in the class. Suitable for painters of any experience.
