Description
Discover this fun and versatile method of creating stained glass artworks. Using the copper foiling technique, you will learn how to design and create both 2D and 3D objects, from window hangings to trinket boxes, terrariums and contemporary decorative candle holders. On this course you will develop your confidence and making skills by undertaking a series of projects of your own design or using templates provided by your tutor Catherine. Choose from and cut a beautiful selection of glass, learn about colour choices, foil each piece and solder them together. This is a hands-on course offers an opportunity to learn an exciting skill, the only limit is your imagination.
Materials List
Please do not wear open-toed shoes to this course. Due to the use of lead, we do not recommend this course to pregnant women. Please note that with this craft a flux used in soldering is derived from animal fat, so Vegans might want to avoid this course.
