A weekend of creativity, collaboration and celebration.

We are taking part in Fair Saturday, a global movement to generate positive social impact. Artists and Cultural organisations from all over the world will get together in a global festival to support social causes. It falls on this day because this is the day after Black Friday, the greatest expression of consumerism. Bristol is the first city in England to take part in this year’s movement.

Our main partner for the weekend is Bristol based charity LinkAge Network, who are on a mission to reduce social isolation and support older people across the city to live life to the full.

Together we will bring you a weekend of arts and craft stalls, demos, a variety of wonderful creative workshops, talks and music/spoken word.

The workshops and evening performances will be bookable in advance and suitable for anyone over the age of 18. The market, demos and day performances will be free for all to enjoy.

Jo Stokes, Chief Executive Officer at LinkAge Network said, “We are thrilled to be partnering up with Bristol Folk House for Fair Saturday. It is thanks to the support we receive from businesses like Bristol Folk House, that we are able to continue our work to support older people across the city”.
