Signing up for this workshop will introduce you to the magical and crazy world of pinhole photography, This will be a fun workshop crammed with information on how to make your own pinhole cameras from objects such as boxes cans cylinders etc that you easily find around the home, you will learn to expose and develop your images in a traditional darkroom but you will also be shown how easily this can be done at home. You will leave with a ‘camera’ and silver gelatine prints. We shall be working with paper negatives and you will be shown how to make them positive so you can enjoy your handiwork. Due to funding from the Richard and Siobhán Coward Foundation, there are 2 tickets available for 'Low Wage & Under 25's' at a reduced cost.

Ky Lewis, is a multi-disciplinary artist, curator and educator based in South London with an experimental alternative photography and printmaking practice. Her interests are nature, human activity on the land, environmental activism currently with an arboreal focus and site responsive location work. She uses a variety of printimaking methods currently working with drypoint and also works with large format pinhole and camera-less processes.

Sustainability and environmentalism are key, reusing and recycling as part of her

practice. The durational aspect to working slowly in the land essential, enjoying time to experience and reflect on emotional responses, including observations of changes in landscape and cycles of life.
