Events Manager
We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to join our team.
The Events Manager plays a key role in the successful delivery and commercial development of events and venue hire at Bristol Folk House.
This is a varied, hands-on role with responsibility for planning and delivering weekday events, weddings, private parties, corporate and charitable hire. You will manage the events diary, develop commercial opportunities and build strong relationships with clients, community organisations and partners.
We are looking for a proactive, highly organised and confident individual who can manage multiple priorities, work calmly under pressure and take ownership of projects from initial enquiry through to delivery.

The Bristol Folk House is a registered charity and receives no funding from central government, the city council or other institutions. Our income is wholly derived from course fees, venue hire, members and fundraising events. With your support, we can continue to stay committed to serving the local community by providing quality adult education on a wide variety of subjects.

We will be looking for volunteers to help with our live events from January 2024 onwards. If you would like to volunteer some of your time, and get to enjoy our live performances, please email anna@bristolfolkhouse.co.uk with a little about yourself and why you would like to volunteer for us.
