By bus.
The 1, 2, 3, 4, 634, N7, U5 and X14 services all stop in the Park Street area. Plan your Bristol bus journey.
By car.
The nearest car park is just a 5-minute walk on Trenchard Street, see map. This is a large, multi-story car. Unfortunately, we have no onsite car parking at the Bristol Folk House.
Park and ride.
There are three Park and ride services that operate into Bristol
We apologise that the Bristol Folk House does not have wheelchair access or facilities.
It is designed on multiple levels with steps between the levels. Rear access is via a significant flight of steps. DDA assessment of the premises has been undertaken and providing level access for wheelchairs etc is deemed impractical. The Bristol Folk House was designed in the 1960's before regulations took proper care of access and equality issues.
Within the physical constraints of the premises, the service provider will seek to make the services of the Folk House available to as wide a range of people as is practically possible. If you have any questions - please do call us for more information.
We like to welcome everyone to the Bristol Folk House. We understand that everyone is different, and will do what we can to provide an inclusive and accessible environment. In order to help plan and judge whether our facilities are appropriate for you please speak to a member of the Folk House office team.
