Welcome
The Bristol Folk House is an adult education centre in the centre of Bristol. We provide a variety of part-time day and evening courses including:
Arts & Crafts, Pottery, Writing, Languages, Music, Dance, Drama, Fitness, Personal Development and more.
We are a self-funding charity that aims to help the local community take part in ‘learning for pleasure’ courses in a friendly, relaxed environment.
We hold regular art exhibitions in our café bar, which also serves delicious organic, locally sourced food. The Folk House also hosts live music events in the café and our large hall as well as festivals such as our Cajun Festival and Harmonica Festival.
All our rooms, including the café, are also available to hire for private parties, functions or meetings.
