About
Shirley has knitted and crocheted since she was a child, as she was lucky enough to have relatives who are all good stitchers. This lead her to completing a textiles degree in the late 90’s as a mature student.
Having found that individual good quality knit and crochet items can be expensive to find and buy, she decided she would like to pass on her skills, so started teaching part-time, and has now been teaching for over 15 years.
Shirley’s philosophy is that anyone can produce beautiful and individual items if they have the skills and ideas.
