A Saturday Workshop for beginners and practised writers. Writing for all is a 1 day workshops to give you a day of supported creative writing at home. Morning teaching session is from 10.30 till 12.30, then time off screen for lunch and writing time 12.30 to 2, and with a second session 2 till 4. The sessions will include writing exercises, reading and discussion so not too long at a time peering at the screen. Tutor website: www.lizcashdan.weebly.com
This class will be taught online via Zoom. You will need a laptop, tablet or phone with zoom downloaded and a zoom account set up ahead of attending. You will need to make sure your Internet connection is sufficient. This course will be a combination of online Zoom sessions and set homework tasks. You will receive a link with instructions on how to attend the meeting ahead of your first session. You will also need a notebook and pen.
Please note: All 10, and 12 week courses have a half term break in the middle. For term dates please visit our ‘Contact us’ page. We are not open on bank holiday Monday’s and any class that falls on these days will be made up at the end of term.

If a course has already started, please call the office as it may be possible to join after the start date. This may only be possible if the course is not already full, if it is not disruptive for the other students and you are aware that you have missed a percentage of the course and the tutor will not have time to catch you up. This will be at discretion of the Folk House. We run our courses termly, so it might be best to start at the beginning of the course.
