Courses description

This workshop is an introduction to integrating the principles of mindfulness into yoga practice, in order to enhance your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. We will dip into some of the theory that underpins mindfulness, and explore how the practices can benefit us. The focus will be on practical exercises including meditation, gentle yoga, breathwork, and awareness of sensations, emotions and thoughts. Through these practices we will cultivate kindly awareness and self-care to support health and wellbeing. This workshop is suitable if you are new to yoga and mindfulness, or if you have some experience. Please ask to speak to the teacher before the day if you have any medical concerns or chronic health conditions. The course is suitable for most people aged 18 and above who are new to mindfulness and yoga or have some experience of yoga.
