Courses description

Learn to play a marvellous selection of Folk and Country tunes on a diatonic harmonica (aka a "Blues Harp"). This improver's level course will take your harmonica playing to the next level. Many of the pieces will be fiddle tunes which sound great when played on the harmonica. Learn some Irish, Bluegrass, British Folk tunes, Cajun, USA Old Timey, Morris tunes, Celtic music, American Campfire songs - we can also sing if you like. You do not have to read music. This is a user-friendly, supportive course. If you have attended the Saturday Bristol Folk House harmonica days, this 11 week course will give you a weekly harmonica boost! Your tutor (Aidan Sheehan) is a tutor / member of "Harmonica UK" and also a founder member of the UK-based Cajun and Retro Americana band "Whiskey River". Come along and have some fun!

Please be aware that this course is affected by Bank Holidays and will not run on the 6th May.
