In this 2-day workshop you will learn how to design, carve and print a 4 colour Lino Print using multiple Lino blocks. Learn how to use the cutting tools, transfer and register your design and try out different inking up methods to create colourful prints you can then proudly take home and hang on your walls.
Please bring an apron or wear suitable clothing.
All materials and tools will be provided. Each student will be given enough Lino to produce a 4 block A6 Lino, plus scraps to practice carving marks.
We will be using Caligo Safe Wash Relief Printing inks, a non-toxic oil based ink which is cleaned with vegetable oil and warm soapy water
Additional Lino and brand-new tools will be available to buy from the tutor for those wishing to continue Lino Printing at home
Please note: All 10, and 12 week courses have a half term break in the middle. For term dates please visit our Contact us page. We are not open on bank holiday Mondays and any class that falls on these days will be made up at the end of term.

Latecomer
If a course has already started, please call the office as it may be possible to join after the start date. This may only be possible if the course is not already full, if it is not disruptive for the other students and you are aware that you have missed a percentage of the course and the tutor will not have time to catch you up. This will be at discretion of the Folk House. We run our courses termly, so it might be best to start at the beginning of the course.
