Courses description

This course is suitable for you if you are new to making pottery. You will complete a series of short projects in which you will learn to plan, make, decorate and glaze several types of hand built decorative and useful pots, working in a creative environment with other students.

The second part of the term is an opportunity to practice these techniques of pinching, coiling, slab-work and construction to create pieces of your own design.

Using the potters wheel will be taught during these weeks to those who wish to learn this skill.

Please be aware that George Myres will be covering this class on the 23rd May.
