Wendy Leocque is a photographic artist and creative facilitator that has worked in various darkrooms around Bristol. As a way of introducing newcomers to alternative photographic process, Wendy teaches lumen printing, cyanotype process and various other alternative techniques that often cross pollinate, which makes her workshops perfect for beginners. With 30 years Traditional darkroom experience and exploration, and more than a decade teaching experience, she enjoys sharing her passion for these playful techniques and demonstrates how she combines them with her current projects.
Wendy has a relaxed approach to teaching and the structure of her courses are fairly fluid to adapt to each persons needs and developments during each workshop.
Playing with these processes gives an insight into both art and science and you will be given the knowledge to continue experimenting with these techniques at home and discover more about their possibilities.
