Have you ever wanted to paint an inspiring scene in watercolour and pen?
This workshop will guide you in clear 'step by step' demonstrations on how to use watercolour and drawing pens. Top tips on colour mixing and brushwork from an experienced tutor in a relaxing atmosphere.
This workshop is suitable for beginners.
Please bring:
-Pencils B, rubber putty, sharpener, ruler.
-A4 watercolour paper 300 gsm/140lb, cold pressed.
-Brushes round sizes 3, 6, 8 and 0.5 flat or oval.
-Plastic palette and plastic pot to hold water.
-Watercolour paints preferably artist quality in tubes, Cobalt Blue, Cadmium Yellow, Permanent Rose, Burnt Sienna, Raw Sienna, Sap Green and Phthalo Blue
-If you already have a palette of watercolours and brushes, bring those.
Please bring a waterproof frawing pen if you have one, or a basic pen will be provided to borrow from the tutor
Please note: All 10, and 12 week courses have a half term break in the middle. For term dates please visit our Contact us page. We are not open on bank holiday Mondays and any class that falls on these days will be made up at the end of term.

Latecomer
If a course has already started, please call the office as it may be possible to join after the start date. This may only be possible if the course is not already full, if it is not disruptive for the other students and you are aware that you have missed a percentage of the course and the tutor will not have time to catch you up. This will be at discretion of the Folk House. We run our courses termly, so it might be best to start at the beginning of the course.
