Join experienced tutor, Jenny Mizel, to explore the versatile medium of acrylic paint. In this course, students will be encouraged to experiment freely with many techniques while also improving skills and exploring new ideas. Jenny's classes allow for students to explore their individual creativity to express and develop their own ideas in a gentle and encouraging environment. This course is suitable for those starting out and those returning to painting. All abilities are welcome.
Jenny is a clear and confident tutor while leaving us students space for self-expression and development of our own ideas. She is always there to lend a hand when you have a problem, don't know how to do something or which colours to blend or what the painting needs to move to the next level. She is patient and inclusive. She looks out for everyone. She is a joy to be around. Great tutor! - Student feedback

Latecomer
If a course has already started, please call the office as it may be possible to join after the start date. This may only be possible if the course is not already full, if it is not disruptive for the other students and you are aware that you have missed a percentage of the course and the tutor will not have time to catch you up. This will be at discretion of the Folk House. We run our courses termly, so it might be best to start at the beginning of the course.
