Courses description

Have you always wanted to make your own clothes and accessories and felt a little overwhelmed by bought patterns, don't know where to start? Looking for a great first garment project? Come to this fun workshop and learn how to follow a pattern, have all those symbols explained and create your very own reversible apron in a day. This course aims to give you the confidence to start buying patterns and begin making your own projects, and show you how to follow instructions to create neatly finished items that you can be proud of; as well as offering lots of handy tips and tricks. Some previous sewing experience is required- you don't need to have made anything from a pattern before, but you do need to know how to thread up your machine and sew in a straight line.
