Tutor: Holly Foskett-Barnes
Step into a season of creativity and calm with tutor Holly Foskett-Barnes in this nature-inspired art course.
You'll explore a new botanical subject every week, growing your artistic confidence, watercolour abilities and nurturing your wellbeing. Holly will guide you through beginner-friendly step-by-step techniques, helping you develop a portfolio of seasonal Autumnal paintings.
More than just a painting class, this course is about slowing down, tuning into nature, and enjoying the process of creating without pressure.
What you'll gain:
- Practical watercolour techniques with 1:1 support
- Increased creative confidence and a mindful approach to artmaking
- A calm, supportive space to enjoy the creative process over outcomes
- Experience exploring nature through a creative lens
No previous experience is necessary, just bring yourself and an open mind! Everything offered will be accessible for all levels and abilities.

Latecomer
If a course has already started, please call the office as it may be possible to join after the start date. This may only be possible if the course is not already full, if it is not disruptive for the other students and you are aware that you have missed a percentage of the course and the tutor will not have time to catch you up. This will be at discretion of the Folk House. We run our courses termly, so it might be best to start at the beginning of the course.
