The Lift your Voice course will give you the skills and tools to enhance your voice in a fun and relaxed environment. This is not about learning to master RP (the royal family accent) instead we will explore the individual variety of your unique voice. Including how the voice works, the good habits to maintain vocal health and techniques to help you effectively engage your voice. You will learn techniques used by actors, performers and public speakers to develop posture, breath, voice and articulation, and explore resonance, range and tone. At the end of the course you will feel a deeper connection with your voice allowing yourself to feel confident speaking as you!

Latecomer
If a course has already started, please call the office as it may be possible to join after the start date. This may only be possible if the course is not already full, if it is not disruptive for the other students and you are aware that you have missed a percentage of the course and the tutor will not have time to catch you up. This will be at discretion of the Folk House. We run our courses termly, so it might be best to start at the beginning of the course.
