Join tutor Holly Foskett-Barnes for a calming, nature-inspired journey where you will learn to create landscapes in watercolour. This course is as much about growing your creative confidence in a supportive environment as it is about learning to paint with watercolours.
Throughout this day-course, you will practice step-by-step watercolour techniques and create a mini-portfolio of landscape artworks. Whether you are painting dreamy skies or a windswept coastline, you will be encouraged to focus on the creative process rather than the final product.
What you will learn and take away:
~ Easy warm-up drawing exercises to get you started with confidence
~ A range of watercolour painting techniques to enhance your skills
~ A mindful, relaxed approach to creating, fostering calm and focus
~ Tools and materials to continue your creative journey beyond the course

Latecomer
If a course has already started, please call the office as it may be possible to join after the start date. This may only be possible if the course is not already full, if it is not disruptive for the other students and you are aware that you have missed a percentage of the course and the tutor will not have time to catch you up. This will be at discretion of the Folk House. We run our courses termly, so it might be best to start at the beginning of the course.
