Courses description

Nature is all around us, even in the city, but how often do we pause to look? Come along to spend time noticing the natural world, hear the words of established nature writers, and develop your own skills in observation and creativity.

This course will be for writers who'd like to connect more with nature, for nature-lovers who'd like to write about their passion, and for anyone with even the merest hint of an interest in words or wildlife - all are welcome and no experience is required.

If there is time and you would like to, there will be the option of sharing some of the words you create during the workshop.

NB. All nature brought into the classroom for students to observe will be plant, object- or picture-based and any plants or objects will be sourced legally, ethically and sustainably.
