Courses description

Make one or more ceramic objects for your home or garden, from everyday plant pots to a birdbath, creative wall sculpture or wall planter. In this workshop you will spend the morning learning some techniques needed for working successfully with clay before designing and starting your project. After lunch there will be time to finish and decorate your work. Your creations will be glazed and fired for you to collect at a later date. This workshop is suitable for both beginners and experienced makers. Before arriving, please consider what you would like to make. Take pictures, measure plants, look around a garden centre, google 'green man plaque' for instance, and prepare to have an enjoyable day.
