Courses description

The Fool, The Tower, The Hanging Man...many people find the imagery of the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot, the most popular Tarot deck, intriguing but intimidating.

How can we use these images to provide insight into our minds or divine the future?

In this workshop, via lectures, group work and individual reflection, we will explore the history and uses of the Tarot. You will learn how to interpret the images on the cards using your life experience, understanding, and intuition.

This workshop will not specifically teach you to read the cards, although we will do a few reading exercises; we will focus instead on helping you develop your observation, interpretation, and expression skills in a supportive group environment.

This workshop is suitable for people with no previous knowledge or experience (it is not necessary to own a deck to participate), and for people with some familiarity with the Tarot who are interested in developing their interpretation and reading skills in a new way.
