Saturday night will be a south-west first with Big Marv’s Big Fat Band taking to the stage.

NOW leading his OWN big band, Marvin Muoneke has chosen 16 of his favourite musicians to play for us in Bristol - a first for Stomp! Established at an inaugural event in Essex earlier this year, we are super excited to see them play on the other side of the country!

Not only is Marvin an established jazz stalwart, he’s a big band leader, conductor, performer and arranger. His band is firmly steeped in the swingin’ tradition with new and original arrangements of classic tunes for both dancing and listening!

Sunday’s tea dance will see the wonderful Barrel House Vipers light up the room with swing tunes for Lindy, Balboa and Shag dancers alike - and maybe even the odd blues track.

If you’ve seen them play before, then you’ll know just how great they are. Led by Rachel Lawrence, the energy the band brings is electric!
