Colston Hall presents/ Angelo De Augustine

Signed to the  Sufjan Stevens independent label Asthmatic Kitty, Angelo De Augustine has been winning fans on both sides of the pond with his “hushed, falsetto tones” (Line Of Best Fit) since the release of his debut album ‘Swim Inside the Moon’ last year. Bringing his delicate songcraft of his latest album ‘Tomb’ to the Folk House in a wave of “barely restrained emotion, and unexpected musical flourishes” (Clash), Agustine’s beautiful blend of voice and instrument will have you transfixed.

Angelo De Augustine grew up as the child of studio musicians whose influence has moulded his sweeping, minimalist folk songs. A frequent collaborator with Sufjan Stevens, Agustine’s delicate songcraft has led him to tours with Moses Sumney and The Barr Brothers and headline shows in the U.S. and Europe as well as a spot opening for Stevens’ Planetariumconcert at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

Augustine’s latest album ‘Tomb’ was released in November 2018.
