Plinko exhibition

‘Plinko’ is a body of traditional illustrations created by local Bristol artist Ava Groves Webster, also known by her instagram moniker ‘Peachy Doodle’. Plinko is an original character, often shown doing fun and whimsical activities or taking his place as the subject of short comic strips and zines. He was developed as something of a mascot during Ava’s time studying at UWE Bristol School of Animation, and has continued to make the rounds through her online work. This series of drawings showcases various sides to the Plinko art style, his sweet expressions pop up in unexpected places, in plant pots, tea cups and budding flowers, he is a reminder that there is still whimsy to be found in the every day. Each drawing is original and has been hand illustrated using pen and ink.
