The Lion, the Fox and the Feather is an art and poetry drop-in event for all the family.
Children and their adults will be invited to respond with art and poetry to a short, illustrated version of the Aesop fable ‘The Fox and the Lion’ created specifically for the 2026 Bristol Refugee Festival where the focus is on showing courage and being
brave.

This fable of Aesop ‘The Fox and the Lion’ is all about being brave, and our version includes several symbols of courage, including an eagle, a feather, a lion and the sun.
This event is for young people and their families, including refugees, asylum seekers and the general public.
This event is in collaboration with Ali Harwood and Joy Mundy in collaboration with Bristol Libraries, Bristol Folk House
and Bristol Museums and Art Galleries at Blaise Castle House Museum and is part of Bristol Refugee Festival.
