“When I wake up, I find myself in prison. Not your ordinary prison, but the sort that nightmares are made of………I’m beginning to wish that I’d gone to Benidorm. ”
This collection evokes not only the halcyon days of the hippy trail but of other places and people, from the 1960s to the present day.
Jonathan tells of crocodiles, cyclones and revolutions, and weird and wonderful characters. He meets drug runners and accidental heroes at a time when we could travel the world simply by putting our thumbs out and let the journey take us to wherever it wanted to go.
Tickets are available online, over the phone or in person.
