Spend an evening getting to know our tutors! This series of talks will allow you to ask questions about the courses and workshops they run, and get to know what make our tutors tick.
Originally from London, Kerry trained as a Ceramicist at Bath Spa University. In 2011 she completed an MA in Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking at the University of the West of England. Kerry has been teaching Lino Printing workshops and courses in Bristol for over 14 years.
Claire Goulding is a Medical Herbalist (BSc, MNIMH) Facilitator and Aromatherapist based in the Southwest, with over 15 years of experience working in education, environmental conservation, and the complementary therapy sector. Claire also works as a freelancer researcher for companies such as Bristol Fungarium and Herbal Reality. As a Forest School Leader and workshop facilitator with her own project Hearth, she has worked in partnership with various organisations including Pukka Herbs, The Museum of the Home in London, and Westonbirt, The National Arboretum.
Ian Redfearn cannot remember how long he has taught wine appreciation at Bristol Folk House, but recalls that the first classroom he was allocated was in an annex above Chilcott the jeweller. The swingtop desks were a nightmare! The world of wine is vast and constantly changing. Ian is happy to concede that he takes every opportunity to continue his own learning!
This will be happening in the Folk House cafe where you can come and have a cup of tea and cake whilst you listen to and chat with our tutors.
FYI:
We have noticed an increasing number of scams / fake tickets for our events recently (especially purchased from social media). We do our best to monitor our social media pages and delete posts from scam ticket sellers, but some still manage to slip the net as we are a small team and do not have the capacity to constantly monitor all of our event pages on social media.
We never accept tickets purchased from unofficial ticket agents or social media platforms.
If an event is sold out – we can refund ticket holders wanting to return tickets provided we have a guaranteed buyer on the waiting list and it is before Friday 12pm on the weekend of the event. Therefore there is never a need to buy from anywhere except for official ticket selling sites (our website, Headfirst, Seetickets. Ticketsellers, Skiddle, Eventbrite or any site that is linked on our website for the event). If in doubt, please contact us before making any purchases.
To avoid disappointment - never buy from an unofficial ticket agent / seller!
Tickets are available online, over the phone or in person.
