Yuup Side Dish: Food & Comedy Event

A special dining experience with a surprise comedy twist - part of the Side Dish January series.

Join us in the cafe on Monday 2nd February 2026 for Side Dish - a one-night-only event that’s part of a city-wide series running 26th Jan – 5th Feb 2026, celebrating great food, good company and unexpected moments of comedy throughout January.

Enjoy a delicious mezze platter (gluten-free option available!), served in the warm, welcoming atmosphere that Bristol Folk House is known for.

Your mezze plate will include:

Seasonal dips (Beetroot borani, Harissa hummus etc), squash, chickpea & sumac salad , stuffed vine leaves, tortilla & aioli, house bread or focaccia (gf alternative available), preserved peppers & sauerkraut, marinated olives & pickles.

At some point in the evening, the lights shift and a brilliant surprise comedian takes the floor. We don’t reveal who they are or when they’ll appear - the anticipation is part of what makes the Side Dish series unforgettable.

Arrive from 7:30pm. Food service begins at 8pm. Drinks are not included in the ticket but can be purchased from the bar.
