About
Catherine White recently swapped a 20 year career in the NHS with a career in the Arts. While juggling a young family and working for the NHS, she completed her undergraduate degree in Fine Art in 2023 and followed this up with a Masters in 2024. Catherine’s portfolio of contemporary art includes, sound works, installations and video all influenced by conceptual art and performance. Since graduating Catherine has worked with Art at the Heart as an Artist in Residence at the Royal United hospital in Bath, facilitating art workshops for in patience on the children’s ward and Dementia care wards. Catherine is also Folk house life model.
Catherine is excited to share with you her love of art and why the ideas that drive the making of Conceptual Art are more important than aesthetics.
