About

Christine has been involved in complementary therapies for over 35 years and works
as both a therapist and tutor. She has worked in many different environments
including spas, care homes, a hospice and on yoga retreats. She began teaching in
1998, offering leisure and vocational courses through local colleges and summer
schools, as well as privately.

With a meditation practice spanning many years, Christine finds that the beneficial
effects weave throughout all areas of life and loves passing simple techniques on to
others. She enjoys seeing the positive changes complementary therapies, relaxation
and meditation can make in a person’s life to benefit and increase their sense of
wellbeing.

Therapies, such as massage, are lovely to both give and receive. Something that
people may not realise is that giving a treatment can be almost as therapeutic as
receiving one! It’s often amazing how quickly these techniques can be picked up and
put to good use for friends and family – participants will find their new skills will
always be in demand!

All courses taught by Christine are suitable for beginners and include easy to follow
demonstrations and practise.
