For a decade Jasmine has been creating functional stoneware pottery, using a mixture of wheel throwing and hand-building techniques. Tactility and elegance are at the heart of Jasmine’s designs. She takes inspiration from Scandinavian and Japanese aesthetics as well as the soft curves and flowing lines found in the natural world.
Jasmine has been teaching ceramics classes for several years, with a specialism and highest expertise in wheel-throwing. Her teaching style has been described by many as incredibly encouraging, mindful, attentive, articulate and attuned. Jasmine helps beginners and improvers find understanding and confidence in both their strengths and challenges, and encourages the development of intention and refinement within their personal projects.
