Lee is an established Folk House tutor, specialising in Digital Photography. She is qualified in Further and Adult Education (FAETC), with over 20 years of experience in teaching. Back in 1987, Lee gained a BA (Hons) in Printed Textile Design, which led to work in Print and DTP. She is a Photoshop ACE with expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Elements and Lightroom.
Lee enjoyed 10 years as a member of the North Bristol Arts Trail, organising exhibitions, and still produces cards and metal prints for commercial use. Lee appreciates all genres of photography, particularly Macro and Studio work. A love of colour and pattern is evident in her print designs, created from digital photographs and with mandalas (circle of life) as a recurring theme.
Lee is a qualified Licentiate (LRPS) and active member of the Royal Photographic Society(RPS), in both the Digital Imaging and Visual Art groups. She’s also a member of the Bristol Photographic Society (BPS) which has led to involvement in the Western Counties Photographic Federation. Lee is a WCPF Photographic Judge and has successfully critiqued of thousands of digital and printed images, bringing the benefit of this experience to the classroom. She also shares access to professional level lighting equipment, camera gear, and photo editing software with her students. Lee is based at both her home studio and the Bristol Folk House.
