This workshop introduces practical ways to use social media to support and grow a business. Students will learn how to choose the right platforms, create engaging content, understand what makes posts perform well, and build a consistent online presence without spending hours online. The session will also cover simple content planning, branding basics, and how to turn followers into customers.
The workshop is structured as a mix of short teaching sections, real examples, and practical exercises where students will plan content for their own business. There will also be time for questions and discussion.
This course is suitable for beginners and small business owners with little or no previous social media experience, as well as those looking to improve their current approach.

Latecomer
If a course has already started, please call the office as it may be possible to join after the start date. This may only be possible if the course is not already full, if it is not disruptive for the other students and you are aware that you have missed a percentage of the course and the tutor will not have time to catch you up. This will be at discretion of the Folk House. We run our courses termly, so it might be best to start at the beginning of the course.
