Step into a season of creativity and calm with Holly in this restorative, nature-inspired art course.
You'll explore a different seasonal plant or wildlife each week, combining mindful art-making with creative tools and a range of watercolour techniques. Through gentle, step-by-step guidance, Holly will help you build confidence in your painting skills and develop a beautiful collection of seasonal artworks.
More than just a painting class, this course is an opportunity to slow down, connect with nature, and enjoy the process of creating without pressure or perfection.
What you'll gain:
- Practical watercolour techniques with 1:1 support
- Increased creative confidence and a mindful approach to artmaking
- A calm, supportive space to enjoy the creative process over outcomes
- Experience exploring nature through a creative lens

It is like an island of calm in the week. Brilliant, supportive teacher. Fun, relaxed and informative.
Really enjoyed how friendly and encouraging Holly is and how she broke down steps so they are easy to follow.
Structured amazingly - I loved the meditation and reflective points. The watercolour was so mindful, whilst also learning so much.
No prior experience is needed - just bring an open mind and a willingness to explore! All levels and abilities are warmly welcome.

Latecomer
If a course has already started, please call the office as it may be possible to join after the start date. This may only be possible if the course is not already full, if it is not disruptive for the other students and you are aware that you have missed a percentage of the course and the tutor will not have time to catch you up. This will be at discretion of the Folk House. We run our courses termly, so it might be best to start at the beginning of the course.
