This course will provide an understanding of simplified human anatomy and the starting point to explore this fascinating subject within other practices such as life drawing, portraiture, illustration, animation and sculpture.
You will learn to draw the body correctly in proportion and capture it convincingly through the considered use of line and tone. A range of different approaches and mediums will be employed to allow vibrant and expressive drawings to be produced. A sense of playful exploration should soon replace any concerns of being intimidated by the complexity of this somewhat technical subject matter!

Latecomer
If a course has already started, please call the office as it may be possible to join after the start date. This may only be possible if the course is not already full, if it is not disruptive for the other students and you are aware that you have missed a percentage of the course and the tutor will not have time to catch you up. This will be at discretion of the Folk House. We run our courses termly, so it might be best to start at the beginning of the course.
